Default Injen CAI

I am about to install one on my EP and it says in the instructions something about removing the bumper in order to remove the resonator box. What is a resonator box? Does anyone know what they are talking about?

resonator box is basically a plastic box and routing that is used to prevent too much sound made by the intake.

You do not need to remove the bumper to take out the resonator box, it just makes it a ton easier. All you have to do is remove the inner plastic cover in the tire well. resonator boxes are for sound suppression.
