difference between a black knock sensor vs. a green K/s

title basically expalins what im asking.... a black top k/s vs. a green top k/s?! whats the difference in them... and can they be interchanged with each other

I had a black one on my 97 B16 VTEC delsol and a green one on the '01 B20Z that I put in there. I had to exchange them because the green one has a different plug than the B16 one. They screw in place just the same, just different plugs as far as I know.
