Default Whp Numbers anyone???

I drive a 99 base model Prelude right now. I'm almost done meeting my goal on parts for my car. I didn't want to put any of them on till I had all of them cause I wanted to feel the big horsepower gain and I also didn't want to kep taking apart and puting my car back to gether. My parts consist of the following: Unorthodox Racing Clutch (Stage-2 6-puck sprung hub), Ultra lightweight Flywheel, and Pulleys (Whole set), Vafc 2, DC 4-2-1 Headers(Got them for a good price), Skunk 2 Intake manifold, Denso iridium Spark Plugs, Nology hotwires, Injen intake, Invidia Exhaust, Str8 pipe, Energy suspension Motor mounts, High Volume Fuel Pump 255hp Walbro, AEM FPR, AEM High Volume Fuel Rail, and 550 RC injectors.

*Intake and exhaust are already on the car.
Does anyone have any guesstimates on the numbers I could be putting out afterwards??? Thanks

What's the need for the 550cc injectors??? All you have are just some bolt ons, don't see why you'd need anything bigger than stock. Not to mention that the fuel rail and fuel pump are pointless as well.

When putting on a turbo kit in the near future why not get some of your stuff outta the way early? Its already been said that 550cc isn't to much to run without boost. Granted they aren't going to help either , but Whatever. That is the reasoning behind the fuel setup

there is no reason to run any of the fuel stuff on ur car the way it is u probably wont even be able to get it to idle and if ur going turbo why get the header. u need to do a little research before u just go out and buy parts

Got the headers cause I have Christmas and other things to take care of before turbo. They were 200 new. Not bad when I got a little extra laying around and I have done the research but no one I know have a complete botl-up setup right now I just wanted to know if anyone could get some numbers to me. Instead of commenting on what I have and blah blah just give me some numbers

You bought all that stuff without having ANY idea how they work on your motor.

Half those parts either won't do anything to produce more power, or they are just plain ****.

If you're goin for power, you should look into these things before buying the parts.

And do we look like ****** computers?! We aren't going to be able to pinpoint what you're making. IF you can get the car to run right after throwing that **** on, it'll probably be close to stock HP levels.

That's a big "IF", though, for you....

Get it dyno'd instead of postin on a board

i m just letting u know u will not be able to get the 550 s to idle i had them on my car with a lot more **** then u listed and it wouldn t idle without a good fuel management not just a little vafc. Ur car probably wont make much more than stock for power all u really have is a p.o.s header and an intake and ur probably going to be running really rich so u might even be less than stock

with how rich u are going to run, you will lose power... Like others said you should have done some research before just slapping stuff together

I have to agree with everyone else, the setup you listed isn't going to run very well. (The parts you have so far are a good start though) Those 550s are gonna have you running sooo rich that you'll probably loose a decent amount of power, and be lucky if it will idle at all. However, if you get rid of that Vafc and switch to a Hondata, you can tune those injectors to run fine with your current setup and then simply tune again when you get the boost.

As far as the numbers you asked for.......

Nobody can say exactly, but I think we can all say that your not gonna like the numbers.

agreed....

you should have done a lil research on what makes hp before you bought all that ****. you wont get anywhere with that kind of fuel going n/a. all your power is going to come from head work. you wont get anything by drowning it with gas.

if you want to get rid of those 550's and the fuel rail i might know someone that would buy them

You are making less than stock, at the very best you will make near stock level power with it being less than stock instead of more. You mentioned you have a skunk 2, do you have the stock intake manifold still? if so wuld you be willing to sell it?

like everyone said.....prob close to stock if not less with fuel manag...........could possible do harm, since runnign very rich is known to wash oil off of cylinder walls.......>cracked sleeves or blpw rings (speaking from experience)....be careful.........rich not ALWAYS a good thing

I have heard that the crank pulley is a bad idea. Hang on to the fuel stuff till after you do your turbo. I don't think you can run that much boost on a stock block. Maybe you should sell some of the crap and build your motor up.
