Default TWM ITB fitment issue on an H22

I'm in the middle of building an H22 engine that is going to use TWM ITBs. It appears that I've run into a couple of small fitment issues. The post for the throttle return spring hits the water pipe that runs from the water pump to the tstat housing, and the throttle return spring post on the throttle cable cam hits the knock sensor connector before WOT. Has anyone else run into these fitment issues? If so, what was done to correct it?

I'm fairly certain it's the right kit. The flange is a perfect fit. I don't know if they ever made a change in the design, but this one uses dual throttle return springs.

Also, what did you guys do to plug the EGR port? I'm thinking of threading the port in the TWM flange and using an NPT plug to seal it up.

Thanks.
