"Mugen 4-1 header has serious clearance issues..."
This is the 3rd or 4th time I have heard this. I just picked up a Mugen 4-1 header and I wanna stir up some feedback from those of you who are running it now. I have also heard people hissing that Mugen and Spoon technology is too old and you will see little to no gains. This true?

I don't recall hearing of any clearance issues (unless you're referring to ground clearance, which is indeed not terribly good with the Mugen 4-1). As for the technology/performance aspect, it is more or less a fact that in the same basic price range, there are a number of other options that will perform significantly better than the Mugen or Spoon pieces. This is not to say that either of those two choices are bad, they just aren't incredibly exceptional.

No clearance issues here, had it on the car for 6 months maybe and no dragging. Much better clearance than my old JDM DC 4-1.
On stock suspension you will have no problems. I had a DC JDM 4-1 which had the worst ground clearance out of most headers, and at stock suspension i never scraped it once, just be careful over large speedbumps.
My Mugen 4-1 has a few scratches on it from the previous owner that had it Slammed. But I raised it up a bit, and now I got no problems. And I just installed the Stock ITR Springs today, so I'll definately be fine.
