mounting aftermarket seats on stock brackets??
I'm in the process of installing some Sparco Corsa's, and I was trying to use the base mounts from the stock itr seats. I remember at the expo Austin had his seats mounted on stock itr mounts/rails. I started to disassemble mine, but thought it would not work. I have the sparco side mounts already, and wanted to mount them to the oem bracket.
has anyone else done this? Sparco does not sell a bolt-in base and slider combo. They sell either a basic bracket for $42,(dc2r only) and a regular base mount for $100(both retail). I'm not concerned about a slider, after reading the writeup on S&M, I see the sliders take away precious headroom. I was just hoping to save a few bucks...
Any help is greatly appreciated!

yeah, the last thing I want to do is destroy the oem's... If I had to, I could get some brackets from the junkyard....
to clarify, do you destroy the seat or the bracket?
