Dont even attempt it man

If you dont know what **** needs to be replaced theres no ******* way in jewish hell your going to be able to take exact measurments of the crank and cylinders and be able to install everything in the right order and properly.

Just dont do it. Buy one freshly rebuilt or fork over cash for someone to do it

Its not something you can **** around with

Ive rebuilt my first A6 twice and still dont fully understand everything

just cause your a moron doesnt mean that this guy cant do it himself. i did my ZC and it runs fine..

my advice..take your time...bearings, piston rings, main seals both front and back. HondaBOnd works wonders!! and have the block honed and decked. as for the head, if you want get a valve job and resurface it. if you opt not to get a valve job then have the machine shop check it.. i think they charge like 30-50 bucks depending on the shop. Make sure to shop around for parts and remember that OEM honda parts are much more $$ but then again better. I went and bought the HEad gasket and Timingbelt from The dealer and the other parts from the machine shop. Clevite77 bearings and some other brand piston rings.

long story short all i did was hone the cylinders, clean crank, resurface head, replace main seals, piston rings, bearing and have the machine shop check the specs on your crank and compare them to the specs from the manual. good luck!

my father will help me rebuild it no problem, i just want to know what parts should be repaced to make the engine good as or better then new. what about valves seals? My issues is the engine leaks a bit of oil and burns some.....combined consumtion is about a quart every thousand or so miles.....more an annoyance then an expense. so i want to make the engine not leak and not burn any oil. I plan on boosting it later on too so a freashly rebuilt enigne is better for that. Stock compression is fine though i dont plan on runnign much boost. I need to save hardcore engine internal work for my s2k that will also be boosted......anyone got money for me?
