Default How to paint engine bay black?

I want to paint my engine bay black. Any advice on how to do this? What paint should I use? Do I need to primer or sand it?

I will not be able to remove my engine.......The painting will have to be done with everything covered up.

Thanks!

where's your answer to the ?

OK...i recommend a paint that is cheap because the blacks will be ok together, heat resistant to some extent, and fairly durable so it doesnt chip or crack if something gets dropped on it.

.............. i think the best option is to leave it alone... if you dont take every thing out, its gonna look like crap anyways. just leave it as it is.

I did mine with high-temp flat black paint. Took me a total of 3 hours, and I left the motor in the car.

The motor's dirty, I haven't cleaned it since I got it.
Let me know if you need any help, if you haven't already done it.

because some people have a couple Gs to spend on a paint job so the place thats doing it can completely rip all of your **** out and put it all back together for a color change. so you paint it flat black. I personally think its a good idea. hey to each his own.
