Will there be huge or minimal gains by putting CTR pistons into my B18C5?Will the motor have much more potential with the higher compression? I mean if we're talking 5hp I don't feel it's worth the hastle.

 

If thats all you plan to do, then you wont see much gain.
High compression goes well with large cams.

 

chris, just put some damn itr pistons back in that biatch and save your self some trouble. if you not going to go crazy with mods it's not going to be worth it. dave has a set of spoon balanced jdm itr pistons sitting on the shelf.

Chris - If you want to get off the wallet and run Spec B or C's with those, then go for it. If you are going to stick with stock ITR cams, then, as Keith said, it is not worth the work. Bigger cams love higher CR!
