i tried to get white ones cause mine are black on a white car and people wont sell them cause it damages the value of the door. i tried junk yards and they said id have to buy the whole door because they wont take them off and lose a sale on the door.

They are kind of hard to take off without bending them, but i'd definately search the classifieds, or a junk yard. people are always parting out cars on here.

I think best bet would be to try and contact somebody on here who has shaved their moldings. However they may or may not be in usable shape, depending on how hard they were to get off the car.

if he's a good body guy, he should be able to weld the holes and sand them to make it seemless

the thing w/ that is that my door handles were shaved about 1 1/2 ago and that body guy had warped the door and my new body guy is more affraid of continuing the warping and making it look worse than it did to start.... my body guy knows his **** and knows he can do it but doesn't want to run the risk of making it worse

I just shaved my moldings on my 94 LS, i still got em..but i dunno how good of shape a ten year old molding is going to be in. I could take some pics if you want.

I went to an awesome body guy and an integra looks mint without moldings, especially if you shaved your door handles.

Oh, if you get sheet metal filler pieces behind the door to take care of the holes, your door wouldnt warp and it would actually be more durable than when you started.

I got my car sanded to the bone, shaved all my trim, molding, badges, antenna, and repainted it all. i also molded my lips for nineteen hundred. Most body shops charge 300 to paint the moldings alone, so i say 650 would be a fair/good deal but to me 800 doesnt sound that bad if he does great work. oh make sure he matches the paint well too.

Oh and for dustrag i cant direct im yet or send pics, sorry.. ill see what else i can do about those moldings you want.
