I know there are quite a few of our honda tech members that have a subaru sitting in their garage. Don't keep them locked away! Take them out for a nice photo shoot and show them off here. Lets see the engine bay as well. I was recently at an auto x and saw a ton of them, they have been my dream car for quite a while and I have set a goal to buy one when I am done with college and have a good job, a 2005 aspen white wrx sti with the bronze bbs rims

No love for the 2.5RS's

 

I remember when the Impreza WRX first came out here in the States everyone was like "wow ... go to the dealership and put some money down to reserve one..." It appeared that they were going to be "rare".

I have seen thousands of WRXs and only about three 2.5 since the WRXs came out. I thought I would see more 2.5's than WRXs. I think 2.5 Imprezas are about as rare as the STI.

Correct. The number of 98 - 01 RS's made are slim. 98's have the DOHC headgasket problem so finding a good one is hard. WRX's are by no means rare. STi's are sorta rare, but can always be bought.
