d16 head/d15 block?
i have a 90 Civic HB with a ZC/D16A6 motor in my car, but i recently threw a rod and havent drove the car for awhile. I realized i had an old d15 block in the back of my garage in good condition. I was wondering if it would bolt up? i mean i lined it up and it looks alright...but im wondering if anyone esle has done this. Its not casue i want power its i just want the car running...until i get a b16 put in.

Hey, it's a perfectly legit question. Why? Let's look at the original post: "...I realized i had an old d15 block in the back of my garage...". It could very well be a D15A3 block, which won't work with ANY 88+ civic/crx D16 head. The original poster might know this, or he might not, but I'm not going to assume he does because I see people give out this bad advice (and see noobs accept it) EVERY.....SINGLE.....DAY! Anytime you see someone say "fits all d-series" or "fits all d15s" or "fits all d16s", you can be sure they don't know what they are talking about. I'm just trying to prevent the spread of misinformation, one post at a time.

Hmm.. I didnt know they were more accurate.....Interesting.... The ones that I hate are the ones like snap-on sells where it will vibrate when you get to your torque setting..
