In anycase I would prefer you to go with "brembo" slotted rotors. and as far as brakes go.. you would have to choose something that would fit your preference. like break dust, wear?

I prefer low dust - no noise brakes.

Thanks for the info on the Rotors. I found Brembo Rotors for $109 ... is this good or can I find better??

Thanks again in advance for the help.

I'm running Autozone Blank Rotors (just like Brembo) with AXXIS Metal Master Pads. I can safely and honestly say... that was the best $110 I have ever spent on brakes. For another $100, I have Goodrich Stainless Steel Brakelines coming in... combine that with some nice DOT4 fluid, it should be a pretty solid setup. No complaints for ~$200.

I would also suggest the AutoZone blanks.

$40 for both front rotors.

Spend the money on an expensive pad.

Now...that is only if you want to race the car. If you just want new brakes. I would recommend the same rotors, but just get a cheap pad with no noise and low dust.

Don't waste your money on expesive rotors.

Axxis Semi-Metallic Pads or Axxis Ceramic Pads??

Which would you recommend? What differs between them and is it worth the price difference?

Thanks again.

I use the Semi-Metallic... pretty good pad IMO. I'd say in a race situation, the ceramic... but I don't know the noise, dust, or friction properties between the two.

Roll over to Pepboys and pick up some EBC's or Hawks for a decent price. Very good performing ceramic pads.

plain old joe shmoe carquest pads and rotors have always done the
job for me. I just never saw any reason to spend a lot of money on
overpriced ones, but that's just me.
if i wanted an upgraded brake system then i would do the legend
caliper conversion
