Default Accord Turbo Concerns: SMOG test (california regs) and being street legal.

I am working on putting together an accord custom turbo and just realized something: Am I going to be able to pass smog? What about the cops and being street legal? If anyone has any experience in this area I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

im not sure, but if you have to take it to smog test only center then you probably will fail. If you take it to a ghetto smog check center and have connections then youll be alright.

Anything custom will not pass the cops if the area u live is strict. Theres a reason why there are retailers, to get the lil sticker that say your stuff is street legal. Thats the main reason why i prefer name brands over custom.

cali - won't ever pass

MA (notice you're in Worcester KamakaziX - I'm on the north shore) - as long as you can pass the OBD2 test (which I just failed) you'll be fine. There's no visual inspection. Hell they popped my hood, looked around with wide eyes, and closed the hood. LOL!
