i have a mugen one and there was no mesh cat thing....i just bought a 2 1/2 inch landspeed racing cat to connect to my twin loop

Was the one you bought a 4-2-1 Mugen Header? Or a 4-1?

I had a JDM Mugen 4-1, no mesh cat. I fit it with a JDM test pipe and the JDM twin loop sport exhaust.

It's not a "cat" of any sort.

Just a flex joint to relieve stress.

I believe that's a Prelude Mugen header depicted.
