what kinda octane do u put in your tegs
Stock non-vtec should be 86-87, all you guys that are putting premium in are only hurting your performance. Higher octane = hard to ignite, thats why N/A cars with advanced timing and high compression (higher heat) and turbos (higher heat) HAVE to use higher octane to keep it from pre-igniting.
Everyone that puts higher octane in their car than it needs it just wasting there money.
VTEC engines need premium i think, i dont know though since mines non-vtec WHOO HOOO
Also, Unlike most people think premuim gas isnt a premium grade! There the same gas, there just as clean, there are no more additives in premuim gas, just more octane!

Chevron is the BEST from my experience...you can just feel the difference. (Used to work at one too...)
I had to watch like a dozen video on "techron" and what it does and all the studies that prove it is the best gas octane ratings 85-94...fact.
oh yeah...I use 91-93...premium always...unless I am grandma'n around & not hitting Vtec, then I will put in 89.
