They are both made by the same guy so craftsmanship/quality is going to be the same...

The Bisimoto header will be better performance wise IMO due to the fact that Bisi opts to go with a true Burns 4-1 merge collector for the Bisimoto header... The primary routing out the Bisimoto seems to be a bit different as well...

if the an-r is a stamped collector, that will suck big time

I am leaning towards the An-r. Here is my take on it, the bisimoto header is around $200 more but has had a lot of research put into (from what I have read). The An-r on the other hand I haven't heard to much about the R&D for it, other than the equal length runners. If I could afford any header it would be a Bisimoto or SMSP or DTR (since he is a local kid and has made some good stuff). BUT since I cannot afford any header I want it is an AN-R for me or DTR since he is local.

AN-R/Prospeed gives you the option of the 4-1 merge or stamp collector

Merge is a lot better, its an actuall controlled merge of the 4 primaries... the stamp collector, or "street" collecotor is a basic dump for all 4 prmiaries to collect into one area...

Here's a good cutaway view of a merge collector from Burns Stainless...

And in this kit you can see a "stamp" collector, which is made from a single piece of tubing with no welding invloved...

i won't be getting the stamp collector for sure...
an-r also offers a merge collector also....but it cost like 200 bucks more i belive...bisimoto already has the merge collector...

c..this is why i can't decide...bisimoto $689(exospeed.com)...anr compact version w/merge collector $730(from an-r.com)...but..i guess bismoto it is...for the money and for the name...thanks for all the input...

both of those headers are the same length and ANR also offers a merge collector
on a slightly built say... B18 a merge will make about 3 to 5 more poneys
be careful what you buy just becouse of a fancy name
