the d is lighter but unless you get a vtec head it will still be slow. it will fit pretty well. the dx tranny will work i think but its gear ratio is a bit to low for a performance car. (3.888 final drive)

The D16a6 only makes a few more ponies then the Dx motor you already have. Instead you could just use the Si tranny... that's the easiest way to make your HF or Dx faster.

But if you want a fast car, b18a1 turbo
It's research time!

you would have to convert to multi point fuel injection but i think thr d16a6 should drop right in other then that. plue its lighter then the b18a1.

if you can get a cheap d16a6 and an si tranny that would be much better then still using the d15b. the d16ag is already mpfi so thats a bit less work and its a little bigger... it should go in fine and the ecu wiring wont be as hard.

b18a1 even tho this motor weights more than the d16a6... you will get +30 hp & +30 tq... worth it if you got the money to spend for this swap... other route to go is the mini-me directions... which will give you +30 hp & the same tq as the d16a6 and you are using the same block you got the b2 block....

if you get a cheap d16a6, its already mpfi so you wont have to swap all the stuff to it like you would if you kept your d15b2. the b18a1 would be good but if you put a z6 head on the a6 block and get a turbo, you could blow lots of people away.
