home depot lip on 89 bumper fits with jdm headlights
heres my home depot lip on my 90hatch with jdm hood/bumper/filler piece and 89 civic bumper and home depot lip... it fits good, but the contours of the bumper dont match perfect to the filler piece, overall I am happy with the different look it has.
may redo the lip and try to hide the screws and actually spend a little more time on it....

oh... and its for sale

on all the work and everything, but I'm just not feeling that look. I think its way too big for that bumper. Most of the HD lips dont usually look like the garden edging or whatever they're actually made out of. This one does. Too much like it, imo.
...you could have just used black screws, then you wouldn't have the ugly silver screw look on the lip. that's what i did.

Looks good.
I am rocking the HD garden edging too, though mine is mounted a bit differently. It is easy to install, very inexpensive to replace, durable (I hit it off of everything and don't care because it is cheap), just as functional as most other front air dam spoilers, and looks good enough that I actually get compliments on it.
Your car is strangely attractive to me. The JDM hood and lights look interesting with the '88-89 USDM bumper. I would paint the rest of your steelies white - it looks very "JDM" (Oh God, did I just say that?
); reminds me of those white Bridgestone steel wheels.

No **** Sherlock, he already explained this.
