Default tranny problem

earlier today i experienced a problem with my car in which my car would not go into any gears untill i was able to force it into 5th and rev the car up high just to get the car to move without stalling out which did a number on my clutch. Now all of a sudden the clutch pedal is very hard and stiff and i can feel bribrations threw it. The car now goes into all the gears with no problems except for the pedal problem. Can somone give me an idea of what im possibly dealing with so i can plan what direction to head in.

probably a bad pressure plate or throw out bearing...the not getting into gear easily was probably same problem. I would replace your clutch. But get some more feedback on other possibilities or previous experiences first.

Is your problem like this...then more reason to believe it's a clutch!

I agree with this guy. Time for new clutch/p.plate, maybe flywheel and definately bearings. Enjoy that $bill$ and downtime =p.

i dont exactly have the money to trow out for all of this so i wonder how long it will last. I mean its going into gear fine but its just a pain to mash that clutch pedal.

buy a clutch kit from local parts store. you will get the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bearing. It's not too much

get any one you like...act, exedy. . .
probably won't come with the bearings, but you can buy them separately from same place you getting the clutch. Plus take out your flywheel and get it resurfased too!
