Alright... As some you might know, and some of you may not know... I got my ITR used with some pretty cool goodies attached to it... But now, I wanna change it up a bit...

I've been debating since I got the car... Should I keep the Mugen Wing? Or should I ditch it and get the ITR Wing. So come on, you guys gotta help me out. Now all I ask are some good honest opinions about what you think about the wing on my car... Here are some pics...









And here are some pics of the spoiler... Though I call it a Mugen Wing, and also assume that it is... Can anyone verify it from these pics?

I think you should keep it and get some Mugen wheels to go with it.

IMO keep it

get the optional sides and rear to make the car complete and some mugen wheels... alot of ppl have the itr wing, i havent seen that much personally that has the mugen wing...

My honest opinion is I dont like it. A bit massive looking.

If it were me, ditching that thing would be job 1.

 

i dont think it's the best looking wing. but it is wind tunnel tested so i'd keep it if you plan on useing it (roadrace/autoX) otherwise sell it.

Trade it to some JDM/ Mugen freak (you guys know who you are) for a stock wing and $200.

It sounds like you don't like the look of it either.

 

uh-oh, you're gonna start the mugen wing debate again for the record, it looks like you have an authentic one according to your pics...lucky you. i'm surprised the previous owner didnt part it out before selling...the wing will fetch you atleast $500 if you sell.

personally, i like it. in fact, i really like it it reminds me of mugen's racing history and the F1 style wing is distinctly mugen. i believe the wing will look better with a bodykit though, to accentuate and offset the angular shape. maybe the wings west mugen style sides or even a c'west kit, it looks smoother than without a kit.

whatever you decide, its a rare part that some will either love or hate due to its looks, but dont forget its intended function for me, i'd love to have one on my R. anything thats a little less common is always good. makes it unique.

 

Keep it. It makes your R a little unique compared to other R's out there. Plus it's functional if you should decide to go road racing.

Wow... I didn't know so many people here loved this Wing... Most everyone on SHO hated it... I'll just keep thinkin about what I wanna do with it. And I'll definately make a new thread if I decide to sell it...

i should mention that for a while i was one of those caught-up in the hating when first i only saw pictures of the wing...then oneday when at work at acura, an R pulls up for service and guess what, Mugen Wing.

i was blown away...it very appealing in person, i dont know why?. its just not the same in photos. i was ready to hand the guy money right then and there for it. i wanted one and vowed to own one for the aRR from that day on
