Best digital camera for the $$$
I'm looking for a Digital camera for under $300 maybe $400. What is the best one for the money? Or should I just go digital camcorder? I would like it to have MPEG capabilty.

ive been looking around for a digital camera, and for the money im looking at the nikon coolpix775 found it for 308.00 shipped, 2.1MP very small size camera.

Digital Cameras are more convienent than camcorders cause their portable..
I guess it all matters what you plan on shooting... try to go for the most mega-pixel in your price range.. I like my 1.3 mp Fuji FinePix 1300, but I love my 2.1 Olympus D-490 Zoom.. My next cam is gonna have better zoom capability, can't complain about the Nikon Coolpix series.. check out this site for the consumer reviews.. it helps me out with all my camera choices..
