Clicking sound when low speed turning, help?
Ok, here the problem. When I'm turning at low speed (like reverse or just starting in 1st gear), if I'm actually in the process of turning the wheel (not just hold it in a turn), about 70% of the time I hear a single click sound that is quite audible to me the driver, and passengers can hear it if I tell them to listen for it.
Any idea what this could be? I replace stock suspension and tie rod ends, but the noise was present before that ever happened.

I have that same noise... I thought it was my fender liner thing because its loose and shoved into my bumper. I pulled it back down.
My question is that if I find that the CV boot is bad, should Honda cover fixing it under my warranty (I have the Honda Care package) even though I have aftermarket coilovers?
they can rule in anything. They can be like "your car is lowered and is in closer proximity to rocks and other debris...and other garbage." I don't think so man, but go try anyways.
I think that actually the burden of proof is on them though right? They have to provide evidence that modification made to the car were directly responsible for damage to parts that would otherwise be covered under warantee I thought?

Not neccessarily, usually they just say Nope, since its an aftermarket part it voids the warranty. Also its a known fact lowering a car increases the chances of the boot ripping/ the joints getting damaged so they'll stick with it. Its still worth a try though, before you go just raise your car up to about stock height just in case.

NOT TRUE!!!! i work for a honda dealer and installing some form of aftermarket part does not void the warrenty on other parts. if you lower your suspension and still use the stock axles (just like most everyone does), the axles ARE still under warrenty. honda has a 3 year/ 36,000 mile standard warrenty. they also have an optional honda care warrenty which is usually for 6/100,000 and cover motor and drivetrain only. but axles are not covered in that. so if your still in your 3/36k, your good. if not, sorry. but having aftermarket suspension like that does not void the warrenty unless the problem is directly caused by the modification (like pushing 20psi out of your turbo and throwing a piston through the hood and across the street).

Wow really?? I wish i woulda known that when i went with my friend to the dealer to change his axles. They just BSed up and down with him about his suspension being too low and causing the axle boots to rip and make them click. Friggin bastards
