Default resognator or cat?

with my b16 crx i plan on running 2 1/4" piping, should i use a resognator or high flow cat with my racing muffler? I don't want to fry my rings but I do want the best performance.

You're not going to fry your rings.. who told you that? I have a resonator only because I don't have to go through emissions tests here. If I did, then I would have both.
