Default hasport mounts

Hey I bought a b16 swap and it came with the 2 side mounts from hasport. They are the billet ones...well I need the rear mount to do the swap...I called hasport and they said that I had to send the 2 mounts to them so they could see which ones I have so that they could get me the correct rear mount...they claim they have redesigned them...to make this easier for me I was wondering if anyone has any input on this?

tell them you want the billet kit, for b series

you either need the hydro kit or cable kit, but that is weird i dont think the rear mount is different... hmmm..

if hasport says send em back, do so. good guys.

Hasport has an excellent reputation and they aren't going to screw you. Send them back and get the correct mounts.

I'm not worried about their reputation...I'm just looking for a quicker way of getting this done so I can get my motor in...the 2 mounts I have are the right ones...I just need the rear one to complete it...I'm just trying to figure out why I have to go through this trouble to get a mount...everyone I have talked to knows nothing about different designs of the billet mounts.

Thare are several versions of the billet mounts for the EF's from Hasport. This is why they are asking you to send them in. Not many people, if any outside of Hasport are going to be able to tell the difference in the versions. Don't waste any more time send them in.

why does it matter? you cant drive your car till you get all 3 mounts anyway, so whats the diffrence? send your mounts overnight if your in that big of a hurry.

This is tru...

Also, all the hasport billet mounts for the 88-91 civic/crx are the same. I have had efb1, and efb2 kits out of the car, the only difference is the tranny mount.

As said in a prior post; just ship them "overnight". That way it's a done deal and you know that you are getting the correct mount.

I wouldn't question Hasport as to if it's a justifiable request.

I'd be more interested in why you just don't do it. Are the mounts you currently have really Hasport (I believe that they stamp their name on them) or "copies"?

they're probably making your life easier and making 100% sure the mounts
you have are indeed the ones you need for the swap..

have u seen how many billet mounts Hasport makes?

can u guess what car these fit it?

how about these? get the point.

lol...its not the question of what car they fit...I know what mounts I have...it's just they claim they did a few different designs...of the same mount...the swap hasnt been started yet..so it's not like I'm in such a hurry because I'm carless...it's just that I don't feel like sending them in for such a simple thing...plus I have really bad luck with shipping...it wouldn't be a fast process for me I know.Maybe I'll just buy new mounts?
