Any suggestions on this? easy fix or no?
Fairly easy fix. Just need to find a good welding shop that will do it. I've been getting a lot of 1st gen B16's that break off the motor mount underneath the timing belt cover. We simply build up the area around were the holes are broken, smooth it out, drill, tap, and insert Timer-Serts. Time-Serts are like Helicoils, but they are a solid threaded steel insert. The part that was broken is as good as new. Here is a pic.
yeah thats what iw as thinking would be a good idea also. Just build the hell outta it, then retap it. But thinking about it i will prolly have somone make me some sorta metal bracket that i will run from the mount area to hold the clutch bracket.
Any more ideas are welcome

i have had 2 tranny's welded like that by the torque mount, take it to a place that know what they are doing and they'll fix it no problems.
