which track to go??
hi
i'm wondering if i should go to Infineon, Sonoma(5.5 hours) or Willow Springs(3.5 hours). This will be for NASA HPDE 2. I've done big willow twice. never done sonoma. I don't know anything about sonoma. Is it worth the extra travel time to hit up sonoma?
lodging is free at willow since my friend lives at lancaster. but i want to hit up as many different tracks as possible to broaden my horizon. would i learn more by going to sonoma or can i still learn a lot from willow springs?
i done 9 open track days. 1@buttonwillow, 2@big willow , 6@streets of willow
thanks

I think you already answered your question.

Learn what? Learn the line? Car control? Trigonometry? Learning is always subject to the student.
Personally I think Sears Point is a much more fun track.

If you have a chance, I would definitely recommend going to Infineon. Infineon is my favorite compared to the few other tracks I've been on: Laguna Seca, Thunderhill, Willow Springs, Street of Williow, and Buttonwillow. It is quite technical and has good elevation changes. Well worth the drive.
