Here's how much power I'm not making:

Again in 2nd gear.

Tried to dyno in D3 but unless we took it to almost 4000rpm it would downshift. We squeezed out a run in D3 from 4000rpm to redline. Power went up to 123hp and 128ft-lbs. All I have for mods is a Craptive intake and a cheap 2.5" compression bent cat-back with a universal muffler. The car has 263,000km on it and the bottom end was rebuilt at 236,000km.

I guess the only other thing I can try is to take it down the 1/4 and through a weigh scale to figure out what it really does.

hahahahahahha.. that is sad... thats why i did my swap last week.. and im loving 5 speed now.. hehehehehehhe.. but... if ure really going to stay wif auto.. go and upgrade it with level 10 stuff.. i heard they are pretty good.. but.. u never know till u try right.. cheers

Not really, only way to beef it up is w/ a torque converter and stuff like that.

I wouldnt dyno a car with that many miles on it. I dont bitch about my auto tranny because i knew what it was when I bought it. If I wanted to buy a racer, I'd get a coupe/manual.

 

Why wouldn't you dyno a car with that many miles on it? that was 264,000 kilometers btw, and the bottom wnd was rebuilt 30,000 kilometers ago. Also it used to be mom's car so I can bitch about the tranny. :D

 

km? oh, ok. Its just that your cars is stressed when dyno'd, and when it has a lot of wear on it, it something undesired might happen.

 

Stress on the dyno? you've never seen me drive My car should have gone postal by now.

well, you could go for the whole levelten upgrade. complete tranny for $2500.
