Why-oh-why would you want to put anything less than OE CTR parts on your CTR?
If you really do have a CTR... you should be looking to put stuff like spoon and/or mugen on it. NOT US-spec Si parts?

But if that's what you really want to do... you shoudl look to "trade" with someone from the US who might want your stock parts.

this is just an educated guess but, i don't think so...because if u have a ctr, it has the rsx type s engine doesn't it...i don't think a cai made for the SI will fit that.

dude, no offence, but you need to know what your talking about before you start making "educated guesses". look, for those of you who dont know, heres your general rundown of what motor is in what car and rough hp.

k20a - ctr - 225hp
k20a2 - rsx type-s - 200hp
k20a3 - si and base rsx - 160hp

and to answer the original question in this forum, YES! USDM si parts WILL fit on the ctr. again, i have NO clue why you would want to, but if your serious about trading parts, lemme know. i'll take parts from a CTR any day

Yes, the EDM CTR uses the K20A2.

The JDM CTR uses the K20A.

don't halfass the USDM conversion like so many guys here do with the JDM conversions. you wouldn't want to be a ricer. tell ya what, i'll go out and buy a brand new si and send it to you if you send me your old type-r. then you'll be riding around in an authentic american lefthand drive si! thank me later, i'm just that nice.

you're an idiot.

He's talking about a CAI, not converting to a USDM ep3.

The exterior components on the CTR aren't that much different from the USDM EP3.

Humor is redundant with this thread. ibtl.

Hello old chap. come on here you may find a few answers to your questions,

http://www.civictype-r.co.uk/phpbb2/index.php

Perhaps he wants to fit USA made carbon parts to his CTR, a few of us over here have US sourced aftermarket Carbon 'Mugen Style' wings for example.

Yes injen will fit, I have a similar system going on next week, (you will need to relocate the fuse box however).
