i opened the hood last night in an attempt to put brand spankin new gray tint headlights on my black 00 accord coupe.... and after 20 seconds i went i obviously have to take the bumper off, i'm not sure about the fenders... so i ask: did anyone do this personally? i have a decent toolset and common sense, just wondering is this a backyard job or does it require a hydraulic lift?

p.s. if i can do, i few pointers/hints would help. thanks a lot!!

 

Pick up a haynes. Best way to go for this and any other jobs you might have. RTFM

Yup. and yes you will have to remove the bumper too

 

Yep, just a few clips on the bumper. Not even a 15 minute job to get it off. I would suggest a Haynes or Chiltons manual to help you out. It will also come in handy later for other stuff too.

Deja Vu . . . didn't I say that earlier today? Hmmmm . . .

 

Chilton's sucks I have the chilton's for 92-96 Prelude and in the same manual it has the 94-97 Accord. How can you put everything that needs to be said reguarding the Accord when you're trying to cram it in the same manual as the Prelude? You can't!!! Get a Hayne's (or helm's if you got the cash)
