what percentage of R owners in total use Honda-Tech?
since the true figures are missing, nobody can tell or even seriously estimate...
Ever not-english speaking person.. and there are a lot in Europe and Asia...
I guess not even 10% are HT members
EDIT: Sorry... "US owners".. okay.. this is your playground

There was a post awhile back saying "how many Rs are accounted for on honda-tech" and it got up to 400 something i think....just check the ITR registry on itrca.com most are members of both boards
my itr database which was started back when the original registry thread was going on many years ago has 398 entries. i've only updated it once since then so i would guess around 500 to 600 R owners have been around here at one point or another.

The problem I had with the ITRCA registry was that it would only allow you to register 1 R and I'm on my second that's not even accounted for there.

there was a post a long time ago that did a head count of all the R owners...
I suck at searching so I did not find it.
But if you look in my sig you will see a list of ITRs and where they are from.

I think not. I used to think that because there are so many people in this forum but not everyone has an ITR here. Just look at the registry on ITRCA and you'll get a better understanding.
matt's guess > about 20% or so...

Yes, it is. It's 10.4 percent of the USM ITR population (which is not a "domestic" market
).
U.S. sales:
1997: 318
1998: 1,023
2000: 1,347
2001: 1,157
TOTAL: 3,845
BTW, the registry on itrca.com currently has 394 entries. And some of those are from outside the United States.

Well, considered accidents and totalled ITRs, they are not all alive...

Which means that the percentage represented here may be even higher than that.

Indeed.
Think of it this way - there are more than twice as many NSXs in the country as there are ITRs. And how often do you see an NSX when you're driving around? Not very often, I'm sure.

that is so true. I've seen a Ferrari Testarosa and a Lotus the last 2 days in the area and yet I haven't seen an NSX yet in the last 2 months.

Thats weird cause you can register the same one as many times as you want. I accidentally did it twice. There is another person I saw on there who did it 3 times so the number is not accurate. Someone needs to edit the list to erase some of those double or triple entries
