I dont think he is leaving the time on the table now, he has been running in either the high 28s or low 29s at the Seat Time Performance Driving Days this year. (which even with his limited prep FSP car.. is about 5 seconds faster than the Solo I FSP Record)

I don't want to take anything away from Shane because I know he's fast and thats a very good time in that car. But if the SoloI record is a 1:34 thats a pretty soft time and not something to base anything off of.
If the DSP record is still mine it should be listed as a 1:25.xxx. That was in a street driven Integra GSR with a bone stock motor on 2nd hand Hoosiers (I always used the $50 Hoosiers in my Solo I days). I don't remember what year that was, but it was a while back.
Other good references would be a good ITB time (as Shanes car should be listed in B, not A) which would be about a 1:26 to 1:27. Top ITC times typically fall in the 28 to 29 range.
Just noting this to point out that sometimes records don't really mean very much.
