Default Outlaw Engineering gasket on B18CR 56K warning

Hi, i just come to buy a thermobloc kit for my 98' EUDM Integra type R.
I just want to know your experiences with this kit: dyno if possible on the same engine. And if some of you have some tips to fit it easier.

Thanks

the coolant still goes to the TB and IAC. That is why you use the outlaw gasket on the TB and IAC....to shield the heat from the coolant from the manifold.

I put the gaskets on over the winter with a bunch of other mods, so I can't tell the difference.

I picked one up a while back, been debating to take the mani off to install.

The 2 bolts on teh bottom are a bitch to reach.

Been working on the suspension as well, I plan to dyno tune when I get some TODA Bs and then install the gasket and dyno run again. May not be for a few months still.

I have that kit. I have had a few of the intake manifold bolts and the IACV bolts become loose. Other then that I like the kit.

Definitly no worth the install time, i don't fell any difference, but now the weather is about 14°c so i'll make some new chrono between 100 to 200kph to see the diffrence.
Before kit i was at 14s for the 100-200.

It lowers the temp in the intake thus giving you a colder intake charge temp. Given the same volume of air the colder air is more dense. More dense air has more oxygen and thus creates more HP. Or so it is said.

okay but what should be done to the coolant hose then? i asume it has to go somwhere and not just block it (pressure would build up?)

just bypass the TB, that way it will not get heated up by the coolant.

loop the coolant hose to the throttle body, then you will have no need for the throttle body gasket.
