i am thinking of buying a 95 GSR, but the tranny is wierd...... everytime i put it in first gear or reverse, the tranny sounds like theres a marble in it or something.

the previous owner said that he had this noise for 3 years and nothing has happened. i believe him cause hes my cousins best friend.

can somebody tell me what it might be?

hmm im not sure wat you mean by marble in it...is it like clicking sounds when you put it in gear 1 and reverse?

i think that normal...mine too..i even heard from stick car too...i think it normal...

 

shouldn't be making that noise. drain it, see if any chunks of anything fall out. fill it back up and see what happens

Dont worry bout that one. I think i know what you're talking about and it's normal.

As far as into first....is the noise louder when u put it in reverse?? Has the car been stripped of the sound deadning material?
