Hey guys, im new to honda tech, and i have a queston... A friend of mine is selling his GSR shell, no motor, not so great paint...whats a good price

He wants 1800 what do you all think.

Depends on condition, year and your personal preference.

 

oh well yes i forgot to mention, its a 96 2dr 110k body is in fine shape just needs paint

he said he would go 1400 with steelies ?

 

is that all it's missing is the motor?

If that's the case, IMO, it'd be worth $1400 to either:

A.) Create one mean HPDE or Honda Challenge car

B.) Rebuild to YOUR spec with choice of engine and paint and make a beautiful street car.

When it's all said and done, it's gotta be worth it to you. If you're willing to put the $$ and wrench time in, then it sounds good to me.

One other thing, is the title clear on it? If it's not, it will hurt the value of the car if you try to rebuild and sell it. Some people shy away from 'R' titled cars.

 

Yah, the title is clean its my friends...Yah its missing the motor and tranny... i just dont know where to find a reasonable priced GSR motor, or bottom end that is..
