Integra Vs Prelude
My friend ownes a auto 99 integra non vtec bone stock(not even intake or exhaust).
I own a 98 auto prelude non SH, no performance mods as well.
When we race he can beat me off the line and up till i vtec in 2nd gear.
His car is 400lbs lighter than mine but shouldnt the 60hp i have on him over rule?
I shold be wasting his a$$ right?! Whats wrong?

how about the fact that your car is heavy as **** and is an automatic. at least you pull on him in 2nd. im led to believe that almost all honda 1st gears are the same.
Also, i dont quite see how this thread is tech related, but you got your answer anyway. auto cars are the sux0r

Next time you race him still rev it in neutral on the limiter then slam it in low. That's the way to beat him off the line. I did it all the time until I went manual.
thats kinda strange....i had a friend that has a 99 Auto GS teg and it ran like 17.2-17.5 in the 1/4....it was so slow...
and auto 5th gen should run mid-low 16's
