Okay, Firstly: Does anyone know the average price for a B16 head, and the price of Civic Type R cams?

And secondly: Does anyone know of a good shop in the DFW Area that has a good track record with LS Vtec setups?

i've seen PR3 heads for 400-500ish from the HT sponsers. CTR cams usually sell in the HT classifieds for 350-400 and from the sponsers for about 500. all used equiptment ofcourse.

 

Is that 350-400 a pair, or each?

 

That would be for the pair. Remember that when upgrading your camshafts, it's a wise idea to upgrade your valvetrain (valve springs, retainers, etc) to handle the bigger cams. Don't forget better LMA's (Lost Motion Assemblies) for your head if you're using a B16a head

 

Thanks Quiks, I'd of completely over looked the LMA's. Anything else I should upgrade, if upgrading the cam's as well? (assuming the block's not gonna break on me from upgrading the head?)
