Yes. Another buddy club thread. (Skunk2 Stage 2 /JUN 3 owners chime in)
So I can't figure it out for the life of me. Buddy Clubs are the latest and greatest, BUT I still am lost. What cams do I get for my 12.4:1 B20VTEC with a mild "ITR" style port job, AEBS manifold, 4-2-1 tri-y 2.5" header & exhaust... I've currently got B16A automatic cams, so anything would be better right now...
We've all seen the amazing graph of the BC's vs. the CTR's... BC's make amazing low end power. However, there are no graphs of BC's vs. the proven s2s2 cams, or even JUN3's... For a daily driver, I supposed it makes sense to get the BC's for the better low end torque, but what I am wondering is how does the low end/midrange of s2s2's compare to CTR cams? Everyone raves about the low end of the Buddy Clubs.. Is it really THAT much better than say skunk2 stage2s? Do Skunk2 Stage2s actually make less torque & midrange than CTRs?

skunk 2's have about the same low-mid range power as a type r cam, but they have allot more tope end. You said you have a B20 with a try-y header, so you already have allot of low end power/torque. I guess what I would ask is do you want to improve on that low end torque that you have over a b16, or do ytou want more tope end? I personally wouldn't want to rev a B20 like I would a b16, but thats just me. Where do you want your power to come in at, and die off according to your redline and your life expectantcy of your motor........
Seemed to have found some interesting inconsistancies...
It actually seems the buddy clubs don't make all that much more torque than his motor did with the spec A's... Granted numbers may not be the same since it seems to not be done on the same dyno, but the torque curve on the dyn aut copies seem real fat...

Omniman's website, claiming the dynamic autosport dyno is actually using buddy club cams....

What I can't figure out is why omnipower website shows his dyno with different cams posted as BC's?

almost correct.
because of the elevation at the trackmasters dyno (back when it was open) the numbers read notoriously lower versus other similar dynos which are closer to sea level.
the dynamic autosports dyno doesn't read all too high compared to other dynojets (from what i've seen)
