I have been hearing that a DIY is the only way I will get black housing headlights. Anyone got a write w/ any pics of doing it? If so I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

there's a DIY for the EP3 to get black housing lights.

The process is essentially the same, but you want to make sure you have an air tight seal so condensation doesn't build up in your headlight..

I would'nt let anyone touch my car. if you let a shop take your headlight housing apart chances are they wont seal it back up then you will get fog and condensation inside your headlight wich will suck and look like crap. and If you take it apart you mine as well paint it yourself. it doesnt need to be powdercoated its not like it gets over 200deg in there.

If your going to paint them black, make sure you don't spray the reflective portion of the housing. If you do, there's no going back

If you're a member of PO.com, go search for the write up there.

Under "Baking Headlights 101" or something.
