Default MSD 6A Ignition box.

I've got a MSD 6A from one of my cars I got rid of. I've been wanting to install it on my '99 Integra GS but when I ask people about it they tell me that I can't and that it will ruin my distributor. I asked a MSD tech and he said that it would be fine and that the only way I could really do any harm to my distributor was incorrectly installing it. What do you guys think? whos running it? any probs with it?

Stock who the hell said it was stock?

404's
Head work (ported and polished)
aem cam gears
4-1 header
act clutch
act flywheel
Gs-r oil pump
magnaflow catback
and a quite a few other things I can't name off the top of my head, I'll have to get the list. This was all installed by the Mehcanic/shop owner I purchased the car from.
