i have a 91 civic dx...i want to convert the car to mpfi. i just picked up a rolled 89 crx si. here is the question....will all of the wiring from the crx work in my 91 civic? i mean if i rewire the whole car? from headlights to tail lights. or is there an easier way?

are asking if there is a easier way to do a mpfi conversion than to swap all of the wires in the entire car?

If you search you will find your answer. But in the long run it will be a lot easier if you just swap certian parts around and the DPFI will be a MPFI. Also I believe wiring of the dash is different. 88-89 CRX(not positive on Civics) dash wiring is different from 90-91 CRX's. Different rear tails. Alot of different things. Why would you convert the entire wiring just to have MPFI???

^ Yup. Just convert the DPFI to MPFI. No need to mess around with every single strand.
This should help you out. http://fourthgenhatch.com/mpfi.html

I've done both ways, I find it easier to remove the dash and change the whole harness, you only need to change it to the driver side kick pannel(Across the firewall, and out the the engine bay on both sides). Plus it looks a whole lot better, and more stock, plus less problems afterwords. Just make sure you have a common year, they are different.(88-89 & 90-91)
