modified B16 CA smog questions, will it pass emissions?
If I install a cat on my B16'd CRX will it pass CA emissions? I'm not worried about the visual, just the emissions. Here are the mods
CTR cams
B&M AFPR
high flow fuel pump
DC headers
Iceman intake
test pipe (for now)
trust exhaust
Mugen chipped B16 ECU

Go to a smog station and ask them to run a "partial" test. Make it clear that you are interested in how it runs and DON'T want a full test that would be logged on the DMV system.
It's a reasonable request and is what I did prior to going to the Referee. That way you can find out if you have a problem before it becomes an issue.
There is nothing sleazy or illegal about this!

only problem i see is the mugen chip and the cams. cams are stock so they should be close but changing the chip or ecu will make ur car run cleaner
