I couldn't believe seeing the 787 in person, I was blown away. The 787 had just rolled off the truck. I couldn't believe it, totally unrestored , actually still looked dirty from Le Mans!!!!!!!!!!!

What a great week it was. By the way the GT40, it was at the Blackhawk auction tent. It was one of three built in this particular arrangement. It was the only one left in its original layout. The info sheet on the windscreen said to inquire for price. Wonder what it was worth????? I could go on for hours. Ill post more up if wanted.

I went to Indy last year, and yeah I have to agree it was nothing in comparison to Monterey. I couldn't believe they allowed people to get that close. The practice/test session for the Ferrari's on Friday was mind blowing. Seeing a current F1 car through the corkscrew was like WOW!!!! Very cool experience.

You must have been sitting right behind me at the Corkscrew, my pics are from a slightly lower angle but about the same. I was up there for all the races Saturday and Sunday.

 

I went Weds-Fri. I did go on Sat. morning, but it was WAY too crowded for my taste. So we only stayed like two hours on Sat. All of my pics are from Weds-Fri.
Thats weird if you were sitting right around me.

I have more..... There were SO many 250's, it was crazy.
