a friend of mine is selling a D16Z6 motor, just need an opinion whether to just go for a mini-me on my D15B7 engine or do a D16Z6 swap. Do both mods cost fairly the same? ($300 for the Z6 engine + Amount of labor? / price for z6 head and parts for mini-me). Which one is better?

my engine is 1.5 and the engine that I'm considering of buying is I think a 1.6 (D16Z6)

 

I have a 1.5 and i would say go ahead with the 1.6 and maybe do some internals or an FI setup

 

D16 all the way.

 

Personally I would go with the D16, but hopefully this helps you make an informed decision
