just curious but how much was the arc intake? do you think it helped a lot?

 

keng how did you reset your ECU ? Can you please tell me the direction. I heard that you should reset your ecu everytime you add a bolt on. I got I/H/E cam sproket. I havent reset my ecu. But my friend did and he beat me damnit. Any direction on ? i got a 00 fbp si. Thanks alot man and dyno looks great.

 

Just disconnect the negative terminal from the battery; wait about 5 mins. and reconnect.

Don't forget your code for your stereo

 

here my dyno, with ARC EG induction box....(just the box no ARC piping), i personally was disatisfied with ARC, went back to stock and dropin filter, putout the same power....also are you running obdI ecu or obdII...let me know...becuase you can most likly free up some power there...

then went with full RSR exhuast + Mugen chipped ecu + stock intake box



all i can say is that, i am not to fond of the ARC box or Spoon ECUs.....Stock box +K&N or some other dropin filter with a Mugen chipped ECU is no brainer

 

I try that but it doesnt seem to work that great. I heard that you can pull out the fuse in the ecu box ? and then wait put it back on after 5 min have you heard about that ?

 

I am running stock OBD II ECU.

I've edited my original post to show a comparision against a typical B16A with I/H/E mods.

The only caveat with your ARC box is the EG version is smaller, and only has 1 inlet/filter. The EK version of the ARC is HUGE, and has 2 inlet/filters. Instead of dipping right before VTEC crossover, I had a nice spike (almost 10hp and 10ft/lbs torque more @ 5500rpm).

I guess you could pull the fuse, you really just need the ecu to lose ALL power. Once you're done plug it back in, start the car, and let it idle for a few mins.
