my auto seat belt (driver side) only works when i slam the door hard. if i dont then the belt doesent move and i get the light on the dash.

i checked out the plug, used contact cleaner on it, jamed some wire in there and pluged it back in and it still does it.

check your door alighnment..or the metal door catcher thing? haha it looks like a square attatched to the car that catches the door...that might not be grabbing the door enough

Yeah, I would check the door pin switch. Honda pin switches normally like to rust up and make very poor connections. Take out the pin switch (one phillips screw) and take a file to it and scrape of any crud or rust that may be on the switch.

 

are u talking about the swich below the striker? for the dome light? cause the dome light works just fine.
