do any of you guys have slim fans mounted on your radiators?? i just bolted on the drag gen 4 kit and the compresor is too big to where i have to take the fans off.. just wondering what fans you guys were running.. and especially how to mount them.. etc.. thanks

a common solution to mounting the fans with a turbo is mounting them as "pushers". Mounting them on the other side of the radiator so they push the air through the radiator, instead of pulling air.

Depending on your turbo this may not be neccesary and you could probably use a FAL slim fan.

Do a search in the forced induction forums archive and you should find alot of answers.

Mine has a slim line fan on it and I have LOTS of room.

 

hmm... im gonna try goin to pep boys or somethin seeing if they have some cheap thin electric fans. ... .i dont know if i can fit "pushers" between the radiator and the airconditioning thingy..
