my idle keeps drowing on me. the idle boggles between 1000 and 0 rpms. sometimes i have to push the gas pedal to keep the car from turning off. i know code 16 is the injectors but what can i do to fix this problem.
please help!!!!!

 

Might be that your eacv has gone bad.. Is this a dx? Is it a civic or crx?

Is that the only code it's giving you? could be you have bad / dirty injecters. i recomend using a Though-gas-tank cleaner at least every 500 Mi.

I agree what kinda car is it? DPFI or MPFI? and what does a EACV have to do with a code 16?

Its an obd0 car.. If the car doesnt start for any reason it will throw a code 16(fuel injector).. When I was obd0 on my crx I threw a code 16 when my fuel pump died.. If you pull the plug wires off and try to start it you will get a code 16.. Crazy huh..
