i had a dvd player in the bottom and i took it out, so im looking for a pocket or block off plate to put there. found this on ebay

Yeah, it's from a 99-00. The 96-98 had a little flip lid thing on them. You can check http://www.slhondaparts.com for it. I was looking a while back for a friend, and they were pretty cheap.

thanks found it, cheap to. just want your opionion, should put the pocket or make a block off plate and leave my regular cup holder. looking for the cleanest look

also if i make the blcok off plate which looks easy, what material do i use

i like that little pocket, i use it for misc stuff i don't want moving around the cabin

it looks like the OEM piece but if you look at the left cup holder you can see a part of the plastic that looks like half of a ring...thats not on my OEM piece, i think thats a poor quality reproduction of an OEM cupholder...maybe its JDM and thats how the do on the island

Buy the one for the 96-98 then. It has a flip up plate on it, so if you don't end up using it, you can leave it closed like a block off, or open if you end up using it.

vice versa, does the 99-00 peice replace the 96-98 peice perfectly? I hate the lid, never stays shut.

There's only one part listed (5) for the part that it fits into, but both of the lid / no lid peices are shown.
