Anyone using a S2000 muffler?

I currently have my bottlenecks removed from the stocl catback w/ smsp testpipe. I have a chance to buy a s2000 muffler (looks like mugen twin loop) and thinking of installing it. Has anyone used this muffler before? If so can you give us a review.

S2k muffler on an ITR? does it fit? i thought the s2k's a dualie? So you're planning to use a single one on the ITR? Well, just have some dyno charts up after you do it.

exactly my sentiment. ITR muffler flows good enough for most applications. The $ you spend to make a S2K muffler fit an ITR, you could probably just buy yourself a pre-fabbed RM-01a.

unless you can do this sort of work yourself
typically they say the ITR muff flows "40% better" than a GSR muff, any one hear any stats on the S2K muff compared to ITR muff? Not that I even have a car to try this on anyway lol
one more time, muff.

Right on...which means you'll be right back to bottlenecking it....
Why would one consider it? Because it's a twin pass? It's no Hytech...not even close...This twin pass is just to keep the sound down and nothing else...
When you are thinking of doing something like this, one should look at the measurements and diameters...if you would have done this, you would have figured out that it's a no go unless you want to be right back to square one.

Different and slower....makes sense I guess...

OK see i did not know that the s2k muffler only had a 2" inlet . I just figured it would be better flowing so take it easy on me geeez that's why I ask the initial question because i did not know.
And toi answer the guy who asked about the exhaust decibles by removing bottlenecks ,the answer is yes it did make it a tad bit louder. With the combination of the SMSP test pipe and removal of bottlenecks alone with JDM 4-1 header the R sound is almost comparable to a stock INFINITY G35 coupe.
